Join us in Bali at the lovely Scuba Seraya dive resort. We have a custom-built diving + accommodation package for October 2012.

The package includes unlimited guided shore dives on the house reef, "Seraya Secrets"—straight off the beach in front of the resort. The site has been described among the best in the world for black sand habitat and buckets of cool critters, in the same league as Lembeh and PNG. More info on "Seraya Secrets" here.

Also included in our package are 2 boat dives in the Tulamben area. There are many lush reefs in the region, as well as the WWII wreck of the US Liberty—an outstanding dive site... heavily encrusted and super-fishy. More info on all the dives sites here.

Minimum 3 nights stay. Choose dates that suit your schedule. Josh and Liz will be there 6-16 October 2012, to give you any help you need with your cameras and photo/video technique.

OCEAN VIEW VILLA

Double bed; armoire; sofa; table and chair; reading lights; veranda facing the ocean; own private garden with kitchenette (bar and small refrigerator); plunge tub; "bale bengong" (Balinese-style day bed) facing the ocean; private semi-outdoors bathroom; hair dryer; shower.

GARDEN MASIONETTE

Double or twin beds; armoire; table and chair; reading lights; veranda facing the garden; partial view of ocean; private outdoors bathroom; shower.

 

INCLUSIONS

  • 2 guided boat dives per day, in the local area (Tulamben): lovely reefs, as well as the WWII wreck of the Liberty
  • Unlimited guided shore dives at "Seraya Secrets" dive site, right off the beach in front of the resort: black sand and plenty of cool critters
  • Guided night shore dives at "Seraya Secrets" dive site
  • 15% room taxes
  • Airport transfers both ways (approx 2 hours by road)
  • Any help you need with your cameras and photo/video technique

 

EXCLUSIONS

  • Lunches and Dinners (a-la-carte)
  • Beverages
  • Nitrox fills: approx $4.50 per fill, or $13.50 per day (based on current exchange rates)
  • Optional boat dive excursions further afield (beyond Tulamben)
  • Gratuity

 

NOTES

  • Daytime dives: 7am to 5pm
  • Nighttime dives: 5pm to 6:30pm
  • Water temperature 26°C to 28°C (79°F to 82°F)
  • All the included local boat dives (Tulamben area) are a 5-7 minute boat ride from the resort, and the boat returns to the resort for the surface interval. But if you go for the optional dive excursions further afield, they are 2-3 tanks, with the boat staying out for the surface interval(s).
  • If joining us on the Alor-Flores liveaboard trip, check-out from Seraya is on October 16th. The flight from Bali to Maumere (to join the liveaboard on October 16th) will be early- to mid-morning.
  • Arrival day at Seraya has no diving included, BUT if you want to do a shore dive then you can swap one from daily dive package of the 15th (the last full day before flying out).
