Hello underwater enthusiasts and lovers or all things fishy…

We are working on a Marine Life ID DVD for Fiji and Tonga, and after 3 years of filming and organizing we have hit a few road blocks.

The books we have been checking just aren’t big enough to house all of the critters we have found in these waters and so now we must get down on hands and knees and beg you, the good people in cyberspace, to help us put a name to these faces.

Click on any of the categories listed to see the images. The image names may be vague (eg: "Nudibranch 1"), in which case we have no idea about ID. Other images have a scientific name already, but it's a name we're not 100% sure about.

We realize that many of the images may not be close enough for a definite ID, and some critters would have to be cut up and stuck under a microscope to be sure, but best guesses will do.

If you think you have a name – scientific and/or common – we'd love to hear about it. We will publish your name as a contributor in our project and be forever in your debt.

Many thanks,
Josh and Liz
