Underwater photographs in “Plongeurs” dive magazine
Thirteen of my underwater photos were used for an 8-page article in this month’s Plongeurs International, a French dive magazine. The article is by Lonely Planet writer Jean-Bernard Carillet; he also took the topside photographs.
Plongeurs International is published in France. If that’s nowhere near you, there’s a (low-res) version of the magazine on their website.
For his story on the Solomon Islands, Jean-Bernard needed underwater photographs of the most well-known and recognizable dive sites. These included Leru Cut, Mary Island, Rapichana Cut, the wreck of the Ann, Mirror Pond, and the upright tuna boat wreck, among others… and all with scuba divers in the shots, please.
Warm thanks to Jan, Doug, Pam, Sharon, Sam, Mary, Cathy & Josh for being such obliging models!
