Undersea Productions were exactly what we needed when we wanted a short snappy video that would make people fall in love with the Coral Sea. Always adaptable to our evolving needs, the team excelled at every component of the job. We’ve been able to reach media far and wide with the fantastic video and I can’t thank the team at Undersea Productions enough.
CLIENT
REEF CHECK AUSTRALIA
A non-profit environmental organisation for coral reef conservation.
THE BRIEF
Create a 30-second community service announcement (CSA) to air on Brisbane’s commuter ferry, among other places. The CSA’s purpose was to let the people of southeast Queensland notice what amazing marine life lives at their doorstep. It also needed to highlight the reef monitoring work done by Reef Check Australia. The piece had to convey its message even if audio was switched off.
WHAT WE DID
- underwater filming, 1 day
- editing
- titles
- motion graphics
- music selection
Undersea Productions helped us to create a fabulous community service announcement showcasing the marine life of Moreton Bay and the work of our dedicated volunteer divers. Despite the 30 second time limit on the feature, Undersea Productions managed to put together the perfect images and tone to deliver our message. Throughout the entire process, Undersea Productions was conscious of our vision and provided professional advice to help shape it into something even better!
CLIENT

The National Tourist Office of the Kingdom of Tonga.
THE BRIEF
Create a 5-7 minute tourism promotional video that would take the viewer on a journey through all 4 island groups. Showcase traditional and modern culture, local people and their lifestyle, recreational actives, scenery on land and underwater, as well as tourist accommodations and eateries for various budgets. The piece had to transcend language barriers in order to reach a global audience.

I commissioned Undersea Productions, on short notice, to make a promotional film for the Tonga Visitors Bureau. The resulting short film is spectacular – it perfectly captures the essence of Tongan life and the tourist experience there. And it was completed on budget, on time, and required no revisions. The TVB has used it at many of their international trade shows and the piece continues to be a valuable asset for Tongan tourism.
